Nordsys GmbH (Mittelweg 7, 38106 Braunschweig, Germany, Fon: +49 531 2969 88-0, Fax: +49 531 2969 88-99, Email: is the operator of these web pages and, as the responsible authority within the meaning of Art. 4 (7) DS-GVO, is responsible for compliance with the applicable data protection provisions.

The personal data of our users is stored and processed by us in compliance with the relevant regulations, in particular the German Data Protection Regulation (DS-GVO), the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the German Telecommunications and Telemedia Data Protection Act (TTDSG) in the respective current versions. All personal data is collected only for specified, clear and legitimate purposes and is not kept longer than necessary.

Personal Data

Personal data is individual information about personal or factual circumstances of an identified or identifiable natural person (e.g. name, date of birth and contact details).

In principle, you can use our websites without providing your personal data. However, it may be necessary for certain applications of our websites that you provide us with your data. Therefore, the use of our websites may be restricted if you do not provide us with your data.

As soon as you visit our websites, our web servers temporarily store each access in a log file. The following data may be collected and stored until automatic deletion: IP address, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, messages about the success of the retrieval of the web pages, identification data of the browser and operating system used, the website from which access is made and the IP address of your Internet access provider. This data is processed for the purpose of enabling the use of the web pages, system security, technical administration of the network infrastructure and optimization of the Internet offering. This is to be regarded as a legitimate interest according to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DS-GVO.

Other data collection

We collect, store and process your personal data (e.g. first name, last name, address, e-mail address, telephone number) if a business relationship exists or is to be established, e.g. within the scope of a subscription or an order, as well as when the content of the business relationship is defined and changed. In addition, we use your personal data insofar as you have provided it to us for registration on our website and have consented to the processing of your personal data. Furthermore, we collect, store and process your personal data if you contact us via the contact form or by sending an e-mail or by telephone or fax, insofar as this is necessary for the processing of your inquiries and correspondence. The personal data we collect will be deleted immediately as soon as it is no longer required for this purpose, unless there are legal retention periods.

Contact form

If you use our contact form and send us an email, the information you provide and your contact details will be stored by us for the purpose of processing your request and for any follow-up questions. The data will not be transmitted without your consent.

The legal basis for the data processing of the data provided in the contact form is your permission (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DS-GVO), which you have given by checking the box in the contact form. You can revoke this consent at any time without giving reasons to the above address or electronically (e.g. by e-mail). The legality of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data provided in the contact form will be stored by us until your request for deletion, until receipt of the revocation or after the purpose of the data storage has ceased (e.g. when the processing of the request has been completed). This does not affect the statutory provisions, such as in particular the retention periods.

Data Transfer

We use your personal data within Nordsys GmbH. This company, as well as our external service providers who carry out data processing on our behalf, are contractually obligated within the meaning of Art. 28 DS-GVO to handle the personal data in accordance with the applicable regulations. Insofar as these companies come into contact with your personal data, we have ensured through legal, technical and organizational measures as well as regular checks that they comply with the provisions of the data protection laws.

If you find links from other data controllers on our website (e.g. to our social media presences on Facebook, LinkedIn and Xing) and click on the link, you are using the website directly with the respective data controllers, so our privacy policy does not apply to this website.

In principle, we do not transfer your personal data to a third country or to an international organization outside the European Economic Area (EEA). If, in individual cases, we do make such a transfer, it will only be to those third countries for which an adequacy decision has been issued by the European Commission or the appropriate level of data protection has been ensured by suitable or adequate safeguards (e.g. Binding Corporate Rules or EU standard contractual clauses).

We reserve the right to transfer your personal data to authorities entitled to receive such information if we are obliged to do so by law or by court order.

As a matter of principle, your personal data will not be passed on to other third parties.

On our websites, various information is stored in so-called cookies, which serve a user-friendly handling of the application and make the Internet offer more effective overall. In addition, the data stored in a cookie makes it unnecessary to repeatedly fill out forms. The cookies we use are time-limited and are deleted regularly.

You can independently manage the acceptance of cookies from our websites in your browser and block them if necessary. You can also delete cookies that have already been set at any time. Furthermore, you can find out about the possibility of deactivating cookies in the settings of your selected browser. If you do not accept cookies, this may lead to restrictions in the use of our websites in individual cases. We would like to point out that after deleting your cookies, you may also have to reactivate set opt-out cookies.

We recommend you to manually delete the cookies and browser history on a regular basis.

We differentiate between technically necessary cookies and static and marketing cookies. Technically necessary cookies are those that make the use of the site technically possible. Technically not necessary cookies are all the cookies that are used for marketing and statistical purposes. Nordsys GmbH uses the following cookies for this purpose: Cookie settings

If you have given your voluntary consent to data processing using cookies, this can be revoked at any time in the privacy settings.

Your agreement applies to the following domains:

Website analysis

In order to optimize the content and offers of our websites and to collect statistical evaluations, various technical programs are used that record data about the behavior of the user of the websites, also in anonymized form. For this purpose, for example, data on click behavior, duration of visits, system settings and origin of users are collected through the use of analysis software cookies in the form of text files. Cookies are stored on your computer for these analyses. This collected data may be stored on the servers of the operators of the analysis tools. The collected data is not used to personally identify the user and is not merged with other personal data of the user.

You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser. However, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. In the following section, we present the analysis tools we use in detail.

The following analysis tools are used on our websites for this purpose:

Google Analytics

Insofar as you have declared your consent in the cookie notice, Google Analytics is used on our website. This is a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is therefore your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 p.1 lit. a DS-GVO.

Google Analytics uses cookies that are stored on your computer and that enable an analysis of your use of our website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

The Universal Analytics operating mode is used for this. This makes it possible to assign data, sessions and interactions across multiple devices to a pseudonymous user ID and thus analyze a user's activities across devices. You can deactivate the cross-device analysis of your usage in your customer account under "My data", "Personal data".

Our website uses Google Analytics with the extension "_anonymizeIp". This means that IP addresses are processed in abbreviated form, which means that personal references can be ruled out. Insofar as the data collected about you is related to a person, this is therefore immediately excluded and the personal data is deleted immediately. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data from Google.

On our behalf, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing us with other services relating to website activity and internet usage.

The described data is automatically deleted after 14 months. The deletion of data whose retention period has been reached takes place automatically once a month.

You can prevent the collection of your data by Google Analytics by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie will be set that prevents the collection of your data during future visits to our website: Disable data collection by Google Analytics for this website.

For more information about this web analytics tool, please see: and Google's privacy policy“

On our website you have the possibility to register for our free newsletter. Mandatory information for sending the newsletter is only your e-mail address. You can also provide us with your name and company. If you provide us with your name and company, this information will be used to personalize the newsletter. The data you provide will not be passed on to third parties.

For the registration to our newsletter we use a so-called double opt-in procedure. This means that after we have received your registration, we will send you a confirmation e-mail to the e-mail address you have provided, in which we ask you to confirm that you wish to receive the newsletter. If you do not click on the link contained in the confirmation e-mail within 24 hours, your registration will be automatically deleted.

If you confirm your wish to receive the newsletter, we will store your data until you unsubscribe or revoke your consent. The storage serves the purpose of being able to send you the newsletter. Furthermore, we store, in each case at registration and confirmation, your IP addresses and the times to be able to prevent misuse of your personal data.

You can revoke your consent to the sending of the newsletter at any time. You can declare the revocation by clicking on the link provided in each newsletter (see footer), by sending an e-mail to or by sending a message to the contact details provided in the legal notice.

In the event of your revocation or cancellation of the newsletter, your data will be removed from the newsletter distribution list and subsequently deleted completely. Insofar as we have also collected your contact data (name, company and e-mail address) from you in the context of further business relationships, the respective retention periods apply in this context.

As newsletter software we use Newsletter2Go, a service of Sendinblue GmbH based in Berlin. Your data is therefore transmitted to Sendinblue GmbH as part of the newsletter dispatch. This company processes the personal data exclusively on our behalf. The use of personal data by Sendinblue GmbH for other purposes is contractually excluded.

You can find more information here:

We would like to point out that we use tracking pixels to evaluate your user behavior via our newsletter. Tracking pixels are single-pixel image files that link to our websites and thus enable us to evaluate your user behavior. These are also implemented in the links contained in the newsletter. The evaluation is carried out by collecting your data (email, company, first name, last name), which is then assigned to your email address and linked to its own ID.

With the data obtained through tracking, we create a user profile in order to provide you with the newsletter tailored to your interests. In doing so, we record when you read our newsletter, which links you click on in it and derive your personal interests from this. We link this data to the actions you have taken on our website.

We store the data collected through tracking on our server in Germany.

Tracking is also not possible if you have deactivated the display of images by default in your e-mail program. In this case, however, the newsletter will not be displayed in its entirety and you may not be able to use all functions. However, if you display individual or all images manually, the above-mentioned tracking will take place.

Google Web Fonts

On our website, so-called web fonts are used for the uniform display of fonts, which are provided by Google. The page loads the required web fonts into your browser cache when you call it up. This is necessary to display the texts and fonts correctly.

For this purpose, the browser used establishes a connection to Google's servers. Google thereby obtains knowledge that our website was accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Web Fonts is in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online offers. This is a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DS-GVO.

If your browser does not support web fonts, a default font from your computer will be used.

For more information on Google Web Fonts, please visit and see Google's privacy policy:

This data is stored by Webinaris for a specific purpose and deleted once the purpose has been fulfilled, provided that there are no legal retention periods to the contrary.
